Cassia had been cooped up in her room for a long time. Her laptop had felt like it was going to burn through her desk, her textbooks were colored with different highlighters, and her notebook was scratched all over from her marking out tasks. Day by day, her paper was getting longer and longer. But it also meant that it was getting closer to being done.[break][break]

Oh, but she needed someone to review it... she couldn't imagine anyone she knew around here wanting to do it. Perhaps she'd send it back to Galar University to have it reviewed before submitting it. Or, maybe, one of her mentors would want to read it...[break][break]

She slapped her cheeks, stinging a bit with the chill in the air as the weather grew colder. Her Pokemon took a glance at her, her ALOLAN NINETAILS tilting her head while her FROSLASS made a ghostly-cooing sound.[break][break]

"One day, I'll be done with that paper. One day..." Cassie murmured to herself, kicking at a rock on the path in front of her.

Cassia was in the middle of thinking over a few things, perhaps changing some of the format of the last several paragraphs she wrote on the experimentation that she had been working on with Eva Morales and illeana reyes. She almost missed Martín del Mar's voice, looking up when she realized that someone was, indeed, standing in front of her.[break][break]

"Oh! Um, hello. I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention," she admitted with a blush tinging her cheeks.[break][break]

Despina tilted her head to the side, her whispy white tails curling behind her as she stretched. Dione, her FROSLASS, observed silently from her spot that she was hovering beside Cassie.[break][break]

"I-I wasn't quite expecting to meet someone out here..." Cassia said shyly.[break][break]
